The Business Case for Belonging
Join SHRM WC this month to learn about the business case for belonging and show what it looks like in practice for neurodivergent employees. You will see where standard hiring and performance processes quietly screen out capable people, how to handle an accommodation request without turning it into a compliance exercise, and which everyday management habits lift results for the entire team, not just for the person who asked. An estimated 10 to 20 percent of the population is neurodivergent, including people with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other cognitive differences. They are already on your team. Whether they stay, and whether they do their best work, depends almost entirely on the environment you build around them.
